This is not an announcement. Announcements happen before things exist. The ship has already sailed. This is the first dispatch from the open water.
dzprecords.com is live. The website you are reading this on is the operational headquarters of Dream Zeitgeist Pirates - an independent entertainment label built across Denmark and Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. Art, Entertainment and Fashion. Three pillars. One code. Every soul receives their full share.
"We do not sail for plunder. We sail for creation. We do not bury treasure. We plant it - in frequency, in light, in story."
Where We Come From
I am Elisha, The Pirate. Captain and CEO of dzp Records. Born in Bukavu, DR Congo. Raised across Congo, Uganda, Kenya and Denmark. Stateless. An active UN case. A Koda member since 2017. A Sony Music Denmark alumnus with a DR P3 A-rotation single to my name.
The crew spans two continents and one of the world's largest refugee camps. Michael Ishara coordinates operations and dance from Kakuma. Saleh Real King shoots film there on a 4K camera that has documented culture across Turkana, the Maasai Mara and South Sudan. Billy Miradede tailors stage wardrobe that blends Congolese La Sape with pirate high fashion. Zabby Tambwe and Marie Furaha are signed artists - voices forged in environments that would have silenced most people.
Kakuma Refugee Camp is home to over 280,000 displaced people. It is also home to some of the most creatively alive human beings I have ever encountered. This is not a charity project. This is a business. A label. A crew. Built on the understanding that creative sovereignty is not a privilege reserved for those with residency papers and studio budgets.
The First Single
On February 12, 2026, You Turn Me On was released independently on all major streaming platforms. The dzp era begins with a Funk and R&B single built on the exact methodology we document in the guide below. Real vocal. AI-assisted production. Human feeling. Professional result.
1,200+ Monthly Spotify listeners at launchThe release was made using the same workflow we documented in the dzp Human x AI Music Production Guide - now live on our Whop store at whop.com/dzprecords. 13 sections. The complete path from an idea in your head to a professionally mastered track on Spotify. First three sections are free. No conditions.
Why Now
The tools have changed. The gatekeepers have not - but the gates have. An independent artist with a laptop, a good microphone and the right workflow can produce and release music that competes with major label output. Not sounds like. Competes with.
dzp Records was built on this reality. We are not waiting for industry validation to begin. We began. The website is the proof. The music is the proof. The crew filming, designing, composing, writing and building across two continents with no studio budget and no label advance is the proof.
The next project - our debut EP - is coming. Autumn 2026. Six tracks. The full arc from vulnerability to operating philosophy. More on that in a future dispatch.
